This is a Universal Mixer
& Beater. It dates from 1915-20. It is one of the first electric mixers. |
. |
This is a GE mixer from the 1940s. The
top folds down for storage. It is a rare mixer - it has 3 beaters!! |
It cleaned up nicely. It had one speed when I
got it, but now (after cleaning) it has five! I restored it in "John Deere
Green." |
. |
I call the paint job 'Leather and Lace.'
I glazed the white and it feels like fabric, and the base I painted to resemble leather. |
It is missing a bowl rest, but other than that
is beautiful. Displays beautifully. |
. |
I donated this
piece to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society building fund.. |

I got this because of the perfect condition:
I cleaned it up, checked the innards, and waxed it! That's all folks. |

Restored this
for my sister-in-law in ME. She has a blue and white counter in her
kitchen - I tried to make it match. |
It comes complete with a meat grinder for all
of you sausage makers. This is similar to the one owned by
Edith Bunker! |

This was my first test with reproducing an
original label. |

This
served as my rehab after surgery in ME. A friend of ours in Monticello needed a juicer, so
.... |

Matched set of small mixers - one stand and
one hand. |
. |
This is my 'tropical' mixer. I glazed the
stand in blue and painted the mixer with a textured sand-colored paint. |
. |
. |
My first restoration project. Got the mixer at
an auction - just to see if I could refurbish it!! |

I call the paint job 'Fire and Ice.' They were
just so cute that I thought I could make them cuter! |

GE Art Deco style Mixer 1930s |

We have friends
in ME who both like to cook AND he is a Harley owner. Need I say more? |
. |
This is a beautiful, and small, Art Deco piece
from the 1930s. If you look closely at the lines in the first pic it screams Frank
Lloyd Wright! |

This is completely original - as good as it
gets. |

This is a nice 'oldie'. You can see the
shape in which it arrived here. |
I glazed the metal parts in bronze and gold,
and saved the original label. |
. |
This comes complete with meat grinder
accessory, which is really unique. |

Hamilton Beach Model 4 Meat Grinder |

This is a meat grinder that fits the above
mixer.Simply take the grinder off of |
the stand and place it on the meat grinder.
This is unusual and a real attention getter. |

This cost me dearly to purchase, but it was fun
to restore! These are not easy to find. |
